I’ve been having animal stress dreams again. A gang of circus elephants stampede forward as the guts of their former captors corrode into rust on their feet and tusks. The ground is a carpet of worms who multiply tenfold with every inhale and exhale, not unlike the intestines of a flayed frog being drummed back to life by an illusionist defector. The town’s beloved psychic horse spells out an urgent message in my language:
"WE WILL WIN AND IT WILL BE GLORIOUS"
